I'm joining the wait advisors. Knoxville Acres=Mostly Hilly.
I live on Ky hilly, gullied, treed and rocky acres. Have a bit of flat but it all leads back to the hilly.
I started with a BX2200 MMM FEL for my lifetime mowing. After a year decided I wanted to do more than mow and with a tractor was able to but.....the BX was to close to the ground and me believing trading is a natural part of living I traded the BX2200 to a BX1500 MMM for mowing and a B7800 for tractoring and also a RFM on the B7800 for faster open area mowing. 3 years later traded the B7800 FEL to a L3240 HST+ FEL and the BX1500 to aBX2350 MMM. Both were mistakes. The BX2350 because of the abrupt stop in reverse and the L3240 (which would start slowing down before cresting my steepest hills which the B7800 at near same HP and half the weight did not do) was scary to me on the hillsides especially after using the BXs and the B. Traded them both off pretty quick and done some more trading after that and have finally arrived at my current needs for my jobs and property.
Kubotas finest mower is their F models. They come in 2wd which I have one F2680 for flat rental property and a F3080 4wd for my hillside acres. I have a BX25 which comes with a FEL and BH for my tractor needs. The F models hug the ground and the 4wd model is like a mountain goat. If mowing can be fun then it's fun with the F models. I've had one of them for almost 4 years and the second 4wd model is starting its 3rd mowing season. Have had no issues with either one of them. I also added a B2320 for 3ph work between rental/home property and with Grandkids I added a RTV1140 for the enjoyment of their company and I also use it for work, it holds 3 to 4 scoops of the FEL bucket on the BX25 and also much more stable on the hillsides.
WAIT, there will always be tractors available for purchase and they don't make big leaps in price but usually do increase in small increments over time.
