Only the driver's right rear wheel, opposite side of where the mower was hanging, had weights installed.

A picture from the rear of the mower. In addition to all the hydraulics at the back of the tractor that connected to the mower, there was also a PTO shaft. I imagine the tractor will be sitting there all weekend, so if you have anything else that you'd like the see, let me know and I will snap a picture. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

When I worked the highway dep't we use to rent these each year. I have to tell you, the mid mount is MUCH safer and easier to use than this rear mount. One gets a stiff neck after a while running these rear cutters. At least with the mid mount, much easier on the neck and actually can still easily se any obstructions before one hits them.

Thats the advantage of the TV. The cab rotates so you can make the rear of the tractor the front and drive forward looking at the cutter instead of behind.

As for the yellow TV 140, NH makes these as the industrial version. They also have the blue ag version. Here is a pic I took at Empire Farm Days of the new TV 145 with rear mower. I don't know what all is different between the ag and industrial other then the tires nor do I feel like researching it right now. They are nice machines. Take care.

wonder why the states all thing their eqipt. has to be the same color? seems to me they could save a bunch of money and just buy what they want disregarding the color.

My state does that. They buy all the trucks in white which is easy enough. All the equipment wears it's factory colors until it's first maintence painting. Then all the equipment gets painted orange with trucks staying white.

When the state or municipality orders a tractor, truck, car, etc., the manufacturers are willing to paint it any color that they want just to get the order. If it is going to be a special order build unit, it is easy to change the color to what they want. Ever notice police cars when they are being delivered? They get the two tone paint right from the factory just the way they want it. MA even has their two tone grey/blue colors done at the factory.... You can tell, because the door jambs are also the body color....
