Now you are getting older - what don't you do?

Have not worn a tie in the last 15 years.
Wardrobe consists of work jeans and go to town jeans and a variety of flannel shirts.

My motto has always been, If you don't like how I look, don't look.

Funny that I have always been very agile but I shake whenever I climb a ladder now, so I don't climb ladders.

I give larger tips now in restaurants and the like. I guess I have an appreciation for the younger folks trying to make it or for anyone older doing such a tough job. I seldom get bad service and the wait staff seems to remember me better as a result. The thin Russian blonde lady that cuts my hair sure does. Did I mention that she is a thin blonde with a nice touch?

You mean the thin blonde, right?

Ah ladders! When I was younger, my long extension ladders would whisper to me, "Dave, Dave- one little misstep and we will get you for sure". Now at 64 they scream in my ear.

I used to prune apple trees off a 20' ladder, then crawl out onto a branch for the limbs that I couldn't reach. Now I use a 14footer, anything that I can't reach from that gets cut off.

Actually the only trees that I prune now are my own, I no longer care to work for what I was making.

Probably double that for me on the tie. Don't ever plan to wear one ever again either.

My dress code is about the same as yours, except substitute sweatshirt for flannel. Only trouble is, now that I'm mostly retired I'm not wearing out clothes like I used to, so now the "grub" jeans/shirts are really bad, and my "good" ones are too nice to just wear around the house. There just isn't the constant supply of worn but still semi-presentable clothes anymore.

I wear a tie if I absolutely have to but for dressy occasions I do wear a cravat which is casual but still a bit classy, the ladies like them.
When I was in the military we had to wear bow ties and tie our own, I can still do it, that was for mess nights which were about once a month, white jacket and cumberbund, had to wear a sword but take it off as you went in.

I was out today plowing with our pickup - what my son hadn't cleared. The hard part was walking to the truck (and walking back). Paused 3x each way to catch my breath, then coughed when I hit the cab and back in the house. It felt good to operate something again. Did the horse paddock and part of the second driveway. We are due some rain and snow tomorrow.
I don't get outside like I used to - two weeks since the last time.
