Everything organic goes into the giant compost pile and that is used to feed the garden. Currently the cow manure is working to get a better pasture up on the ridge.

Possily caused by a massive volcanic eruption, or these freaks that want to eliminate fertilizer could be the source of the famine.

Tell the people of Sri Lanka how that turned out.

I don’t use Chemical fertilizers. I use spent mushroom compost. Maybe some poultry litter.
Gotta be free or damn cheap. I’m not spending $700/ton on chemicals and its bad news for the enviroment anyway.
Lost in translation.

"Freaks that want to eliminate fertilizer"
and
"it's bad news for the environment"

What am I missing?

Eliminate is too drastic (should be used properly)
It IS bad for the environment in my situation. Too much runoff in the rivers and streams near my fields. I have to be more careful with fertilizers & herbicides.

I'd rather eat steak than cake.
If I had the choice I'd pick the cake.

However, what's usually the case is that I'll have the steak, stuffed mushrooms, loaded baked potato, steamed veggies, a bottle of beer, and a very large slice of cake with a big glass of milk. :p

Gotta have the milk to go with the cake.
We were out of steak....
