An AC 185...ignore the HP rating painted on the tin...thats a fiction given the way this guy took off down the lane.

Oh yes...PUs. Notice the long line up of Dodge/Cummins??? The lone Chevy won this event. In fact the Chevy made such an outstanding run that they didnt get him stopped until he was on the access road outside the arena. I think he was just eager to put it to the Dodge owners??

As I said...most anything w/ wheels and a motor were running. That plow made and OUTSTANDING run too.

A bad ending! All was good until close to the end of the run at which pt. it all went terribly bad. This was the only time the fire fighters had something to do. Somewhre in there is a tractor thats on fire, a cooked motor and an unhappy but unhurt driver.

The writing on the tins says it all.... This is raw HP at its very best. It was amazing how fast this machine dug itself in. I was holding down on the shutter button and between shots the tires went from on top of the track to below it. Notice how much tire is buried and how many tractors it took to pull it out. The final shot is a close up of the Allison engine.

OK, thats it. I hope you enjoyed the pics. I certainly enjoyed taking them!

BTW the operator riding in the blue sled was a mess. He passed me on the in field and looked the mess! It was like a small part of the arena was walking away.
