NX Check engine light.

Well the light finally came back on after 5-1/2 hrs, still not able to find a reader local that will give the code number, and I don't want to reset it with mine since it threw the code again. Guess I'll call a couple of the closest dealers and see when they can Che k it out.

Well looks to need the #2 injector replaced, they are ordering new parts so it will be a few days.

Did the dealer tell you which code was in the ECU memory?

Yes it was P02A6-00

That was the only code showing, when he checked. They had to make some calls to kioti and see what they recommended checking. I didn't get to watch him check the injectors with the computer hooked up but he said 1-3 showed normal readings while 2 was all over the place. I had to leave and get back home so don't know anything more yet, I haven't been able to look at my shop Manual yet to read about that code, but plan to when I get a chance.

Had to have all my fuel injectors replaced on my 6010. I don't recall getting a check engine light though. Just had zero power.

I think I remember reading that a while back, I can't help but think my smoking issue I had a year ago didn't have something to do with injectors, dealer played it off as it wasn't regening correctly and done several back to back forced regens. This is the first time I've used this dealer, my original dealer closed do to the owners death.

The code appears to be a standard code... Lots of google hits, this was the first one.

OBD-II Code Decreased engine performance is defined as a Cylinder 4 - Fuel Trim at Max Limit

The engine control module (PCM) uses multiple sensors to determine the required amount of fuel needed to keep the engine running efficiently. If the PCM cannot achieve the desired balance between fuel and air, it will set code P02A6.

Got the tractor back today, they replace the injectors, I'm wondering now if that wasn't the reason it would smoke sometimes on start up last year. The best part it was covered under warranty so I was very happy, now to put it back to work and see how it does.

Also on a side note, even if I had known it was a injector, I would not have been able to replace it myself. Each injector has a specific code number on them and the ECM has to be reprogrammed with that code number so the ECM can control it.

Also the uVIN and the FT4 software is what the deal used with a laptop to read and diagnosis the issues, however they also connect online with kioti to check updates and such. Only issue I see with the FT4 is you have to have a authentication code provided by kioti to activate the program.

Relieved to hear that it's resolved.

Kind of scary that an entire set of injectors had to be replaced. That's a few bucks there. How many hours? Be curious as to how they (the one) failed: maybe the dealer would find out?

Just shy of 500 hrs, dealer said the number 2 was leaking.

OK. I'll be sure to keep an eye out when I start creeping up on 500 hrs (seems I'm following right behind you- rear axle casing reseal at 224 hrs).
