I'm a bit confused on how people are judging what is "heavy duty," "medium duty" and "light duty.
There's mention of the Brush Hog BH26 as being "heavy duty." Per Brush Hog (
Bush Hog(R) Perfomance You Can Count On
Bush Hogョ BH 20 Single-Spindle Rotary Cutters
BH20 Series (BH25, BH26, & BH27 Models)
Bush Hog痴 Famous Reliability In A Medium-Duty Cutter
And for Landpride's 2672 and 2672 they're also "medium duty."
By comparison, Woods' BB72x is "light duty," in that they list it as cutting only up to 1 1/2" (their documentation seems a bit messed up as I have also seen them write it as up to 2").
Woods' "BB720X" it's listed as cutting up to 3", and based on that metric it would compare to the Landpride's and Brush Hog's "medium duty" cutters.
From my research it seems that "heavy duty" is pretty much reserved for commercial-level products. Not sure if it's really realistic for CUT folks to be looking to chop down 4" dia material!
