I forgot about McCormick! Yeah, I noticed that Iron Horse and Bull Dog weren't there, but there was a couple of Farm Pros. Didn't know Zetor now had exclusive rights to Branson.

Never understood why some brands have such a hard time breaking into certain areas, even when they offer as good a product as the infamous "big three". The compacts from brands like SAME/Landini/Deutz, Mahindra, Farmtrac, Kioti, Zetor, and Goldoni are nice machines (SAME comes with front and rear diff locks - name one of the big three that even offers it on compact). Makes me think that there's an active conspiracy on the part of the "major" brands to prevent their dealers from picking up another make, thereby relegating these "minor" brands to the "mom-n-pop" dealers.

Oh well, I digress...

Went to the show as well...to the point about lack of Kioti support, I surmise that they do not take care of their dealers well....Gary's Equipment in Cicero had Kioti, heard through the grapevine that 'corporate' was a big pain to deal with, warranty reimbursement, parts, inventory etc. So he switched to Mahindra. I know more and more folks with Mahindra, some mixed reports, overall OK....they are certainly growing share from my perspective.

McCormick was at the Western Farm Show and Vermeer was at the New York Show & Western Farm Show. This is due to McCormick being only 3 years in the USA market they likely chose to be the Western Farm Show because of more dealers and sales in the proximity of Kansas City. I do not speak for McCormick but there are 200+ farm shows in North America and conflicts do happen so this can happen. Just this year Louisville moved to a week after the Tulare, CA Show, because these are 2 of the largest shows in the World so they needed to have more separation than one day.
