First off been lurking for about a year. Everybody that has posted and contributed thank you, you've been more help than you know.
Second, I have the opportunity (if you can call it that) to get a heck of a deal. I found a new TYM T754 power shuttle cab that has minor fire damage during transport (transport truck caught fire) and looking for answers on potential negotiating. I figure region matters, I'm buying in East TX.
I know that plastic typically melts at 212°, same for damage to the hydraulic cylinders. The grill was not dripping but did show minor deformation. The battery up front I'm not worried about (have one to replace it), nor anything inside the hood. I think the hydraulic hoses on the loader should be safe and will test the hydraulic cylinders when I see the tractor in person.
The only thing I'm not sure of is the headlights. I'm sure the paint on the front has been degraded, which will lead to quicker rusting. The bucket I'm not too worried about. To keep a long story from being longer, dealer mentioned over the phone asking $47k (correct me if I'm wrong, MSRP should be around $52k, I've seen them listed for $47k in TX), what do you think would be a reasonable price?
Additionally this will be my first tractor purchase. I'm not new to tractors, just never bought one for myself. What all goes into the out the door price? I've heard insurance thrown around and a documenting fee plus any implements purchased at the same time. I just want to know where I stand out the door vs tractor price. I appreciate any help and flame suite on..... Pun intended.
