Can anyone suggest a code reader for a TYM/Branson tractor. Preferably one that will read and clear/reset the DOC logger.

There should be a procedure in the owners manual to tell you how to reset the light.
The Branson models don't have an OBD as there are no computers, just the datalogger which simply measures backpressure,

Thanks for the response, and the attachment but I have a 2015 model 3520h without a regen button. DPF/DOC filter was professionally cleaned. It now flashes 10 times. Mine does have a OBD II port on a pigtail concealed behind a bracket which is connected to the logger. I was wondering if I needed to delete code after cleaning or perhaps it’s a pressure differential switch. Dunno that’s why I’m asking about a reader that could decifer the issue with a reset or code delete function that would be compatible with a Branson. It could also be DOC temp. Sensor. I could replace these things but a reader would be cheaper.Let me know if any of the owners out there have feedback on what they would use.

OK, the tractor in your profile (TYM 5520) made me think it was a newer unit. Unfortunately I don't have experience with one that age.
For some reason I have it in my head that people were unplugging the logger on those units and the light went away with no other consequences,
Im sure others with first hand experience on that can chime in.

I could not find an OBD2 reader that could read anything from my 2017 3725H's data logger. There's nothing in the service manual about resetting it after cleaning the DPF.

The manual says that DPF light on constantly means emergency, DPF damage could occur (I think that's overheating). Blinking every .5 second means caution, check sensor in service shop (dealer). Blinking every 2 seconds means the DPF needs cleaning, which is probably too great a pressure differential between the two ends of the DPF.
The data recorder monitors the pressure differential and temperature, and also time stamps each startup and logs the data.

Nothing about blinking 10 times and stopping. Maybe it's one of those like the .5 second one and the sensor values come into range after a bit? Or its not documented in the service manual.

When I got my 3725 the data recorder was not plugged in and the tractor ran fine.

If you're concerned, try asking your dealer. If your dealer's gone or not helpful, you could try asking Dave's Tractor in Red Bluff CA.
