Anyone using off road diesel in their post 2007 engines? The manual calls for ultra low sulfur fuel. Im curious if anyone has had injector and/or emission issues.

Off road diesel? Like red fuel? There is no difference in the two nowadays other than red dye

It's red diesel - quite a price difference. Thanks for the reply

Yes sir. Here you have to apply for tax exemption to be able to purchase it.

We run the off road diesel and I don't think there is a difference, except the taxes and red die. Never looked at it that close, I get giddy when it is about half the price and at that point I'll pump anything in.

You won't have to worry about it with your T3 3616 either way.

Not in NH - "live free or die" until the state is purchased by Massachusetts residents for summer homes

In Idaho is the exact same formula. Less road tax but they add sales tax

I've never seen it here.

I used it all last summer and this winter, no problems.

All diesel here is ULSD. So is home heating oil (which is #2 dyed diesel). I've been using it for my tractors for past 11 years.

The red dye stains my fuel filter so it is harder to tell when it starts to get dirty. I do not use it because of that.

It's all I use in the summer... I buy it right out of the pump at the gas station that I buy my diesel at. As was already said, it's just #2 diesel without the road tax on it...

I do NOT use it in the winter months, as I want "winter" diesel in the cold months, and I also buy that, at the same gas station.

50,000 dollar fine in Oregon if your personal vehicle gets cought with a red colored fuel filter. Never heard of anyone risking that, but you know their out there somewhere.

Could just save the money on fuel and change your filters by so many hours put on the tractor...

The fine goes by the gallon here... I couldn't afford being caught with even one gallon lol
