Off seat PTO engagement

I can think of several reasons. Standing up to see the position of the forks is but one of the several. My seat switch is rendered "normally closed". :) I get on and off too many times and want the engine to stay running to have it any other way.
And yes, if it wasn't such a bother (and that it holds my flashers, work light, and chainsaw holder) I would remove the ROPS too. :)

I heard that one way to do this is with a piece of light gauge wire through the holes in the terminal tabs on the switch, but I've never done this nor can I recommend this ;)

Kinda new at this but I have a JD 2320 and will be putting a PTO driven sprayer on the back. A lot of the work I will be doing is with a spray gun off the tractor.

When I sit on the tractor, with it running and engage the rear PTO, shift to neutral and set the parking brake is the engine going to stop on me or does it keep running when I get off the tractor.

If it stays running what controls that....setting the parking brake and shifting to neutral?

There is a clear procedure for off seat PTO operation in your manual.

If I'm reading your post right, you're actually wanting to operate (move) the tractor, get off and use the sprayer. Well, if that's what you want to do, you cannot (without overridning the seat and PTO switches).
