Hey Guys,

All great replies. I've slept on it and am leaning toward the car. My wife says she won't drive it but I am betting she will. 2009 is my 40th HS reunion year so perhaps the Camaro is the way to mark the occasion. Double Orange, Wow do you think it could work? Tractor and Car! I think I did see a grapple as an option in the Camaro price sheet. My Kubota has less than 400 hours and is in perfect shape.

Well I am heading off to breakfast with my regular Saturday morning group of retired farmers (I'm the kid). I'll ask their sage advice. When I get back I'll test the waters with my wife to see if she's of the same mindset as last evening.

This is simple, go for the new tractor, afterall Kubota didn't ask for any money from the government to be bailed out like GM did!

I will not buy GM because of the above quote...nontheless - You could buy a 500 car - with title - transfer it - and then ... bang you have your clunker to trade in - I helped by brother do this to get a new F250 - No bail out needed.

By the way for 40K you could snoop around auto auctions an get a orginal for under the price of new!

I agree with EddieWalker. Sixty years ago I might have gotten excited about a Camaro or Corvette, but not anymore. Just a couple of days ago I saw one of the new Camaros and it reminded me of the old saying "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" because one of our members recently posted something about GM hitting a home run with it, and if I hadn't read that, I'd have said GM struck out again.

2009 is my 50th HS reunion year and the 40th year since I got out of the Ohio Natinal Guard.
