Any help out there? Does the BX-24 have real tires on it? Can I swap them to the 23? Help!! I'm drowning in Green slim and fix-a-flat!

The consensus seems to be that you can put bx24 RIMS and R4 industrial looking tires(the front tires take a different size rim )on a BX23 but you will contact the mower deck at full turn, wich for me will not be a problem as I do not have a mower deck. I don't know what it is but the r4 for the bx24 is a much higher ply than the ags on the 23.
When the BX24 was just comeing out I asked my dealer about a set and didn't get very far as they didn't really have the books on it yet. I bet Tractorsmart would quiote you a good price on a set.

Greetings,
Living in central Texas with mesquites and cactus is pure **** on tires.
On our old IH 424, which has berryman tire sealer - we use it religiously in EVERYTHING that goes in the pasture - we still average 2 or 3 rear flats a year that have to be removed and patched and about 6 a year on the fronts - even with 12 ply tires.
On my 'Bota L35, the tires are filled with foam and it's really nice to not worry about flats. As for the ride, yeah it's a little more stiff but still has some give. The simple answer to the firm ride is: It's a commercial machine ment to work, not drive fast......so, I drive it slower but since I don't have to waste time on flats it more than makes up for the ride in time saved alone.
And if you think having tubes will protect your rims from rust, think again.....where do you think that liquid goes when you run over something. Even with tire sealer, SOME of it has to leak out to seal the leak and that goes into the area between the rim and tube.

Basically, forget about pretty little toy status and use it like the tool it was designed to be - or stay on the porch with the rest of the porch dogs.
Reminds me of the "trailer queen" show cars - you can use it or keep it in a glass case and polish it all the time - I bought mine to use.

I went to my Dealer on Friday and purchased 2 new Bx-24 front rims and R4 tires for my BX-23. Cost me $160. They look great and don't come close to hitting the MMM. I'll be getting these foamed as soon as I can come up with the money. Once again, my dealer continued his rant on how everybody on the internet is full of " ". He also said that he had heard somethng about Kubota offering a new seat for the Bx-23 but really didn't know much about it. Maybe he should spend some time on the Internet...?

Exactly. Then he could be full of up-to-date **** instead of the tired old outdated **** he's full of now. So relative to those on the internet, basically he don't know ****. :D
