Well, it's the end of an era. :bawling: The trusty John Deere 750 went down the road this morning.

I bought it brand new in April of 1988 right after I came home from an overseas tour in Iceland. I paid $13,500 for the tractor, a 5 foot Woods rotary mower, a 48" Howard tiller and a 375 front blade.

I wore the Woods plumb out a couple of years ago (replaced it with a new Landpride), I swapped the blade towards a 67 loader and I still have the tiller. I sold the tractor and loader for $5500. I'm pretty happy with that. Don't recall what the bare tractor cost, but I'm pretty sure $5500 is half of it and that's not bad after 27 years of use!

Now I get to twiddle my thumbs while the new one gets delivered to the dealer, assembled, serviced, Ag tires loaded and installed (it shipped with turf tires) and the rear remotes installed.

Just traded up from my b2620 to a "used" b3350 that was taken back by the dealer due to dpf issues last winter. According to kubota this machine carries a new machine warranty as everything has been replaced by the dealer through kubota. The dealer here in southern Maine is a straight shooter. I have been dealing with these guys for 15 years so I am trusting they replaced all the bad parts and will stand by the warranty. Let you all know if there are problems.

I purchased a B3350 used with 42 hours, I didn't know about all the DPF problems but that is in the pass, the tractor is perfect I Iove it, great power great cab, so far it's everything I was looking for, small enough to use in the yard as a lawn mower big enough to hook up a 5 ft bush hog and hit the pasture, so far I am 100 % satisfied. ac heat no dust in my face,don't get any better.
