I probably would’ve asked for one with wheels but hey, if it works for you. :D It looks nice, just a little bit of final assembly.

You know I’m glad you brought that up ! I never even considered asking for tires and rims 😁. I do know Kubota is pretty proud of their tractors. The base price starts with no tires ! And it’s $3,100 for the Trac Loader 2 tires !!
Yeah kind of crazy , come crated like a lawnmower .

I’m really second guessing my choice now on buying a Kubota.
I came across some more negative issues on them, and not just one person having the issues, but several.
I was concerned before about why the L5460 /6060 cab models weigh 300 lbs less than a JD 4052/66R cab, Kioti NS 6010 cab, MF 2800 M cab, etc . To me that means lighter duty. And from the start thought the Kubotas had the cheapest looking interior / controls and poor attention to detail.
I put money down on the Kubota last week, but never signed a sales agreement/contract, or any finance paperwork. So really thinking about backing out and shopping for a better choice.
Kubota was way more expensive than any of the other brands, especially as bare bones as they are. Everything is an option on them.

I’ll always wonder if I should’ve bought the MF 2860 M like yours.
I was just about ready to pull the trigger on the MF Saturday. The salesman I had been dealing with wasn’t there but said his boss would be. Well , I stopped in , took my second really good look at it. But no one was around and available . So I left and went to give the JD 4052R another look . Got tied up with the salesman for a bit. By then the MF dealer was closed. So then went to the Kubota dealer for my third look. Really liked the owner, and they’ve been there for 28 years under the same ownership. So after visiting about them for a bit , I made my decision. I decided it was time to just go for it , otherwise figured I’d be going on like that for months 😂.
What was the price difference between the MF 2860 and the Kubota Grand L60?
The weight of each seem close based on the spec sheets.
When I bought my MX5400 back in 2021 the prices seem to be close between brands once I factored in the 20% NCHA discount.
Now I don't know. Not sure I would pay $20k more for the same hp.

Hoping I can get my cash deposit back on the Kubota and thinking I should maybe just get a Kioti NS6010 cab. $10,000 bucks less and that’s with R14 tires included and Kubota with Trac Loader 2 tires. And Kioti is built heavier , much stouter front axle and higher loader capacity.

If they won’t give you cash back, maybe they would let you put it towards an implement.

Personally I would never buy a tractor without operating it. I went with Kubota over JD because it just fit me better.
I love the HST Plus in my 4060HSTC. Low range when in High is just like High range in Medium and is especially nice when moving the machine over the road in hilly areas. When it bogs down in High I can just pull it down into low range and keep moving without stopping to change speeds.

For the life of me, I don't understand why Kubota continues to use those crappy filament lights. LED's are much better and pull less juice as well.

I refitted my 2002 M9 with LED's and the ones I got, I can see all the way across a hayfield when it's dark out, no issue. Those feeble filament lights are like driving with a candle. Did my 2000 M9 as well (no cab), just replaced the feeble Stanley bulbs in the headlights with dual beam LED's.
