My CK20 has about 47 hours on it. Yesterday after a full day of mowing (hot day - 95 deg), I noticed a few drips of oil on the garage floor. Closer inspection revealed it came from the breather vent tube attached to the top of the valve cover.

Is this normal or something I should be worried about?

I would not be worried about this as a certain amount of crank case blow by and venting is expected especially as the engine is going through break-in. I would recommend that you change the oil and filter at 50 hours if your owner's manual does not already specify this. If this symptom continues to worsen, then I would have the dealer look at it. Another 50 hours of run time should give an idea as to what is the trend.
