I agree with Jerry and/or the oil got around the bolt and you didn't get it all gone on the first cleaning. You are on top of this problem now and will watch this area like a hawk. At this point, that's the best thing you can do. Certainly, no oil should be coming out of the casting around the bolts if everything is normal.

BTW: :welcome: to TBN. I got involved in your problem and forgot my manners. As you can tell, it's a friendly and helpful group here. Feel free to ask all the questions you need. If I'm not mistaken, your tractor is a rare 2WD TC40A. Correct?

Yes Sir,
It is a 2wd TC40A. Now about it being rare, you know better than I. Thanks for the welcome and yes I surely do appreciate all the suggestions and hospitality.
Thanks again and I'll be reading for tractor tips and suggestions everyday!

I wonder if that bolt hole is drilled clear through into the crankcase? If so the oil could be coming out around the bolt threads with a little positive crankcase pressure.

If you see it again, pull that bolt and stick a wire in there to see if it goes clear through. And if it does, put a little silicone on the threads when you re-install the bolt.

Well when I pulled the bolt out I took pictures, attached, of the casting around, I think it shows that the bolt doesnt go all the way through. I'll be keeping my eye on those bolts and hoping there aren't any cracks within that cavity.

Years ago I had a Kawasaki MC that leaked from a bolt. The shop said that the hole was drilled too deep and that it should not have been a wet hole. They put some thread sealer on the bolt and the bike ran fine for many miles with no leak. Just a thought.

Must be some porosity in the hole if it's not a leak from elsewhere. Do like Raspy says with a little silicone on the threads. You'll forget you ever saw it in a couple of months.

Hey thanks gentlemen,

Thats exactly what I did, I put some silicone and tightened her up.... If its something more serious I think it will reveal itself soon enough.
