Yeah I wouldn't put any addative in it. 15w40 if that's what you used is pretty thick oil and that Lucas oil addative is pretty thick stuff. Probably like 30 weight.

My point is that stuff is probably not the cause of oil pressure being high but it's not helping.
The Lucas additive I've seen is very thick, pours from the bottle like cool honey.

Yes it is. But it's also not all Lucas, it's 20% Lucas. And when the tractor is heated up it for sure is thinner than even 15w40 on a cool 45 degree morning. And he still has the high pressure when it's warm.

I'd just stick with the 15-40. You know there maybe a issue and thick oil or additive can make it worse. Plug the ports and may not be getting to the places it needs to from being so thick. If your just running 15-40 high pressure may not be a bad thing. Low or no isn't.....
