Oil Recommendations?

Overthinking I am sure, but, I have used Mobile1 In my cars for years. Is there any reason why 15-40 Mobile1 would not be a good choice for a hot climate in which I operate my TX25H?

You don't indicate where you are. "Hot Climate" is relative to geography and could mean 40*F or 120*F.

If it is a diesel engine then run diesel oil. I run Rotella T6 in my tractor and Cummins equipped Dodge. Mobile 1 or Delvac synthetic in my diesel car.

Ah, yes, it is 29°48' North, Baja California, Mexico. Average annual high: 93º, average low: 57º. I am very often operating in 95º–100º+ weather.

I did not know that. Thank you. I am new to diesels. So something like Mobil Delvac Extreme Motor Oil 15W40 Heavy Duty Diesel I suppose.

Well there you go. You're in the "chilly" region. Probably the ocean breezes you get there. You're north of me at 29*23'.

Yes, Diesel oil typically caries an API C-something rating. Like CJ, CI and CK. There's more but those are the most common.
