Oil & Fuel Oil siight / Temp guage

Make yourself a circuit that has a time delay in it. Set it for 5 seconds. If the switch bounces around it will not trigger the alarm. If it makes for 5 seconds, then it will go off.

Just thinking... ;)

I'm not smart enough to build a delay circuit. I'd probably just get used to the occasional blip.

Or just let it go off occasionally and that way you know it works. If will probably go off at the same places or conditions and you will learn how it behaves in normal conditions and will notice abnormal.

Yeah. What he said.

Has anyone ever put something like this on their PT?

I would prefer something that has a low oil alarm but this isn't a terrible idea...

I got a new Surplus Center catalog in the mail yesterday. On page 73 was a reservoir fluid level gauge with a normally open switch incorporated. It requires 2 half inch holes 5 inches apart.

Mounting it inside the engine compartment on the back of the hydraulic reservoir so it wouldn't get broken might be a good option. Only twenty bucks.
