Mowing yesterday using RCK-60B MMM and heard a odd sound... pumped the spindles with grease and kept going... about 30 minutes later the left spindle nut, washer and belt pulley came off. Stopped the pto and it appears all the parts were still laying on the MMM deck but I am having trouble putting it back together... any ideas? Are there ball bearing that I may have lost that I'm not aware of?

Starting from the top theres:
1) item 250 Hex, nut
2) item 240 Washer, spring lock
3) item 230 Washer, plain

There should be a plate that bolts to the pulley with 6 bolts. If this plate didn't come off then you should be all right as this is what covers/holds the bearings in.

Good luck
Volfandt.

update... all is back together except for the belt tension spring that had came loose also... I pulled and pulled on that spring and cannot seam to connect it to the steel conection. Really do not want to pay trucking charge back and forth to dealer for this small problem. Back up green mower is leaking fuel from carb... must mow... 19" push is out of the question.

Don't know exactly how you are "pulling and pulling" on the spring, but I had trouble hooking spring up on my old JD mower and finally got a piece of heavy nylon line, looped it in the end of the spring and had no trouble getting it back in place. The line also kept my fingers away from the spring end.
Let's hear if this helped.

Right on... spoke to dealer today, he said to remove belt... attach spring and pull belt on. No way was this going to work. Used a piece of cord attached to a handle, pulled using legs vice arms and had son attach spring... easy as 1-2-3 in about 30 seconds. Mower is back in service, .99 cent fuel line put the green mower back in service and the 19 inch push mower is still parked under the table saw. Worst part is I had to look at the new orange tractors while at the dealer... I wish I could I wish I might... Cabs look cool now and warm in the winter. Thanks.
