OK, here goes, new guy with long question.

I know been thinking about that. I feel that way myself. The only thing this machine is missing is the Mini Hoe. Other than that, I really don’t need anything the larger machine has to offer. This one may do it a little slower, but in the end it gets the job done.

Worst case scenario, it could have a sudden mysterious break down that costs more to fix than buying a new one, the only problem with that is, in her eyes how would I sell it that way.


I would love to have a 1430 , but than again, to justify that much machine for an acre + would also raise suspicion, and be a waste of money.

A 422 or 425 is more of a sure thing when the time comes. I’ll figure something out. For now the 180 does a great job of anything I need done around here.

Put lots of hours on it and wear it out. My wife bought me a book on tractors a few years back. It said you could own many tractors. Since she got me the book, I figure she must agree with it.

That’s great, wish my wife were into tractors like that. Then I would have a few more setting around I could play with.

I'm sure I can wear it out no problem. I also have a side business I am slowly starting. By next year who knows, I might need something for commercial use. I like the words commercial use. It’s a whole argument in it's self

Meanwhile, I found a welder who is going to help me make some of the other attachment ideas I've had for over a year now. They should help me compensate some what, for the lack of a Mini Hoe.

I’ll be taking some stuff up to him next week. Should be fun testing them out around here. I have that hard compacted red clay with shale, and rocks type soil. It’s a major pain in the arrsss.

Beechwood or someone else had posted the specs/part numbers on the Sauer-Danfoss valves used on the PT-180. You could add another valve to the two you already have (the joystick), and use a minihoe...

Kent, I have considered that also. It could still happen, I just have to many irons in the fire right now. Thanks for the input.
