Decks are rare cos they are the first thing to rust out usually
You could get a couple of push mower decks and link tham together, that way you could get the side ones to fold /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I never did get to make the front mount deck for the b6000, pity really, was looking forward to it......

The belts will work fine running to the back of the deck, if not i will turn the deck round.
Might also cut the front of the deck out, that way the blades will come out the front of the deck and cut really tall grass better. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Man wish i was your son, would love to have been tillin when i was 5 /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif, make sure he enjoys it /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

( I just wish I could find a 3 blade lawn tractor deck in working condition, or inexpensively repairable (free...). I want to put a front mount deck on a little diesel 4wd tractor I have.
)

I've had that same thought........what are you going to use for power on the deck?

I am designing a belt and pulley system to get the belt to the deck. The belt will be driven by a pulley attached to the crank pulley at the front of the engine. Then two idler/tensioners will do a 90 degree forward direction change to the deck. Right now, I am trying to figure out whether I can fit an electric clutch in there or not. I'd prefer not to use one, but I don't think I'll be able to get enough slack in the belt to disengage it from the drive pulley and still allow the deck to be raised and lowered.

I did a bunch of this kind of design work to move the electric clutch on my YM1301D. The original design had the clutch in front of the bumper, but I couldn't use the loader with it there. So I moved it under the hood and designed my own idler/tensioner system. It works great, I have used it to mow my yard for the last two years. I attached a photo of the finished product. You can see more details at my web page.
