The heat don't bother me so much. I don't like it but if you work the roof right you can usually stay on the cool side so you don't mark up the shingles. I will admit, I do not care for the roof prep work. But when it is time to shingle I usually send the rest of the crew to another job and stay behind to shingle alone or with my father if the roof is big enough as I have more fun that way. Hard work is rewarding. Just like haying, it isn't easy which is why I like it.
