Old homebuilt snowblower adapted to new JD3720

Testing Sat noon was a big success! Its amazing how throwing a few more Hp at the blower made it work even better. It will blow 18" deep snow 35 feet when the engine is at 2000 rpm. And it eats up that re-blown stuff without hesitation. Of course as soon as I had it working I remembered why I needed to add a simple golf cart rag top cab to the last tractor. So I spent the afternoon adapting the brackets from that to the new 3720 too. Now I want more snow, MUCH more snow!
I will try to get some pics when we get snow again. Maybe even a video.

Sounds like a great blower!- I'm looking forward to seeing some pics or a video.:D

Jim, How much do you have invested in the blower ?

Thanks!

Joes vette: no cab, but added a quick and cheap golf cart rag top on homemade tubular framework. Will get some pics of that mounted on the 3720 soon for you guys. Meantime, I found some pics of the same golf cart cover mounted on first the 4100, then later on the 2520. Each time I adapt it, it gets less elaborate. I have learned that it doesnt have to seal up, just keep the snow from hitting my face and landing on my lap.

Low bucket: maybe $600 in the blower. Its already been about five years since it was completed, and building it spanned 4 years, so some of the facts are a bit fuzzy.

Thanks to all for the feedback...
