A year or two ago, someone posted about an ingenious way to bury wire. It involved a piece of pvc pipe attached to a ripper of some sort. As the ripper opened up the ground, the wire was run through the pvc and deposited in the trench. The trench then closed right back up like magic.

I've searched and searched, but can't find it. Can anyone help find this post? Thanks for the help

I lowered the middle scarifer blade on my box blade to run a shallow under ground dog pen wire. I used duct tape to affix a 1/2 inch piece of pvc pipe with a 90 degree elbox on the bottom. I placed the roll of wire on a long bolt used to attach the top link to the box blade.

The first time I put down an under ground dog pen wire with a rented trencher. It took me 30 minutes with the trencher and half a day to stick the wire down into the trence by hand. I did the entire job in an hour with the old duct taped scarifer.

Jimhoodag, what guage wire did you run for the dog pen? We just moved and I too the invisible fence trasmitter with me. I now need to put a wire in the new house but I forgot to measure the guage wire they use. The BB sounds like a good idea. I am barrowing one right now so I can use that instead of buying a middle buster like many others have used.
