Old Topic But New Info: SUDT or UDT?

I just met with my salesman from Cavalier International (My wonderful Kubota dealer) who recently returned from their annual dealer meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina.
There has been much talk about whether Kubota owners should use UDT or SUDT (hydro fluid) in their machines. Well, it seems Kubota is doing away with UDT and will only be selling SUDT. I'm sure it will take some time to get all the UDT out of the sales cycle so I suggest those that use it should stock up. The cost of SUDT is not coming down.

I was hoping at least some reduction in cost for the SUDT, but no luck.

Super UDT can be used in more then HYD areas but it looks like Amsoil fluid is a better deal now.

In most apps, you do not even need it.

It can be, as designed, to be used as an engine oil.

I use SUDT in the Transmission Front Axle and the Hydraulics of all 3 of my BXs.
