Ithink for a tractor of this nature a MF35 would still be the best..?

I don't believe that four wheel tractors are significantly more stable than their narrow front counterparts. The reason is that the front axle on the wide front tractors has a significant amount of undampened articulation. In other words, the front of a wide front tractor is on a narrow center pivot just like the narrow front.

It's possible that the front axle would add some stability when it reaches the limits of its articulation, but I suspect by that point, the tractor is probably going to roll anyway.

Very good point, but the articulation is limited to some degree on the wide set front wheeled tractors while there is no limitation on a tricycle/narrow front end, so even if the safety margin is small, I will take it. Just an opinion.

The wide front tractors are more stabile even with +-15 degrees of oscillation of the axle. The narrow front is more manueverable than the wide front and is great for its intended purpose in rowcrops. Both tractors can be dangerous but I wouldn't let that fact be overwhelming.
