The only thing "digital" on my 2017 model year Branson is the hour meter. The only difference between the way the new Bransons sold in the US operate, vs the new Bransons sold in the rest of the world operate, is that the US marketed models over 25 hp come with a soot cooker and a data logger. The only thing the "data logger" does is light the idiot light on the dash if the filter starts plugging up. It performs no "control" functions what so ever. They made no other changes to the US tractors. The reason this is important information, is because those 2 things are just added on to an existing tractor design. And they can be taken off again without interrupting the way the tractor functions in any way.
Honestly, if the OP likes the Deere better, than that is the tractor he should get. Totally fine. Nothing wrong with that Deere (other than price) in my opinion. Can't wait to hear his "snow report" next winter about how fun it is to blow snow on an open station tractor, but that's all on him to decide.
But telling the OP he shouldn't get the Branson because of "all the electronics" is a dump truck full of cow manure.
