All that is trying to be done is to EDUCATE everyone in the agriculture community about WHAT WILL HAPPEN if your distributor "closes shop" (for lack of better words). Unfortunately, the Farmtrac dealers got their education the hard way-fine print is a major kick in the butt. No one should have to go through the bulogna that we have been and are being put through today. We just want to make a living, working hard to have a good name for ourselves. We want to educate everyone to pull out ALL their dealer agreements both with the distributors and floorplan companies and READ, READ and READ. In normal business days, details of the agreements never come into play-but when "normal" goes down the toilet-all that fine print becomes huge details. WE have learned-no more verbal agreements! Just becareful and keep both eyes open. If it doesnt feel right-that is because it probably isn't. I don't care if you sell green, orange, red, yellow, blue or polka dot-watch out with both eyes (and not to just your distributor). May all of us hard working people in the ag community pull through this tough economic time that we are in.
Enough said, thanks for the positive thoughts Maka.
