The poster is a disgruntled FT guy who posts some really cryptic and down right ridiculous stuff on the FT side. His viewership over there is quickly leaving and so he is here trying to stir things up here.

Maka with all due respect and I am not looking for a major or minor arguement here, but why do you think that "HE" is a disgruntled FT guy? You make FT or Farmtrac sound like a dirty word that has "bad people" attached to it. Just because someone sees truths and wrong doings happening to his fellow friends, does make him disgruntled? He is a consumer which this site has many of. In my opinion, I think it is good to read all forms of speech-the good, the bad and the ugly. Then let the consumer decide what to believe after doing their own research.

Hi SESS, I have stated over and over I feel for the FT dealers. My gosh, it could have been anyone of us and I am happy to help where I can for sure. I support them in their desire to keep their good name, support their customers of years and in many cases carry on family tradition/business. I am sure most FT dealers are like the rest of us (dealers) in that they are small business working hard to make a fair honest living. It just got so old hearing the ridiculous stuff on the thread that I quit reading.

Personally, if it gets down to that stuff and the Montana forum gets hi-jacked with that type of stuff I will just quit taking part.

No fight needed but come on, what was the purpose of getting years old threads and putting in some one line comments that no one really understands anyway? Is this a legit attempt at finding good info on what is happening with FT/LS/Montana/McCormick or is it an attempt to somehow stir the Montana side?

Regards, Maka

All that is trying to be done is to EDUCATE everyone in the agriculture community about WHAT WILL HAPPEN if your distributor "closes shop" (for lack of better words). Unfortunately, the Farmtrac dealers got their education the hard way-fine print is a major kick in the butt. No one should have to go through the bulogna that we have been and are being put through today. We just want to make a living, working hard to have a good name for ourselves. We want to educate everyone to pull out ALL their dealer agreements both with the distributors and floorplan companies and READ, READ and READ. In normal business days, details of the agreements never come into play-but when "normal" goes down the toilet-all that fine print becomes huge details. WE have learned-no more verbal agreements! Just becareful and keep both eyes open. If it doesnt feel right-that is because it probably isn't. I don't care if you sell green, orange, red, yellow, blue or polka dot-watch out with both eyes (and not to just your distributor). May all of us hard working people in the ag community pull through this tough economic time that we are in.

Enough said, thanks for the positive thoughts Maka. :)
