OMG, already thinking of winter

Cops here drive the AWD Challengers and just love them in the winter!

Blustery, cold and snowing here. Burrrr!

The one we got stuck behind was not an all wheel drive, and was having a terrible time. Some good hearted bystanders gave us a little push, I have a hard time getting used to the traction control, it really drastically cuts engine power when it detects slippage.
I gave the tractor and loader a good workout clearing my drive and that of my next door next door neighbor.

I will second that, I despise ticks, have had tick fever, no fun. If I need to get work done out in the woods in warm weather I have to soak myself in repellent.

On many vehicles there is a button that will disable the traction control, on some vehicles an initial push will reduce the power cut back but still allow the system to play with the brakes, then on some of them if when stopped the same button is pressed and held for 5 seconds it will disable much more of that system, also many of them will revert back at 40-45 mph.

Last winter my Lady friend arrived here in slushy conditions with her Kia and thought she had wrecked it. Making all kinds of noise and something (brakes) was smoking. Seemed she just had not turned off the traction control of which she had no idea at all.

I looked up how to turn it off, had to go through a menu, easy once you know how.

A good friend of my Sons got a form of tick fever a few years ago. Now he cannot eat meat of a hooved animal. Isn't the weird!!!

I know a person around here who had the same thing happen. I don't understand it.
