( BCNU- We live on 11 acres of mostly wooded land. I plan to use my existing (and paid for) simplicity for mowing. New tractor will be used for moving mulch, gravel, stone, etc for multiple landscaping projects, excavating for a couple of walkways, maintaining a 450 ft gravel driveway, snow removal, leveling some soon to be cleared areas, and clearing brush and scrub from various wooded areas. Other projects to be determined and as yet, unknown. I expect to buy a box blade and rear blade, and am considering a grapple per Cart99.
Kingoflawns- pto hp is 19.5 per Kubota website. I'd like to hear your reasons for saying the 3030 is worth the extra grand.
Any suggestions/thoughts that can be offered are much appreciated.

With the exception of 5 acres of woods..and a 200 ft gravel drive...the exact same reasons I bought my B3030. IMHO..at times you MAY bog down the 2630...but Ive found that instead of bogging down the 30 HP version..I get into tire slippage...which tells me to go at it easier.
Nothing one can do when they might need extra "ponys"..except wish for them. If I could have bought the same physical SIZE tractor..with a 6ft FEL and more lifting power...Id have gotten a 40 HP engine...but even with the 30 HP..I dont have to run the engine "wide open" all the time to accomplish most tasks...except pushing over trees or grubbing out tree stumps.
