Thanks for all of the replies, many options to think about. Brush grubber looks handy but there are thousands of things to be pulled; it would take forever. I do have a stihl clearing saw that works great which I am thinking is what I will have to keep using. Cut them all down and drag to the burn pile.

Nice GSD! I'm in the same boat - clearing land and trying to build a house on it. A lot of the work so far has been taking down trees, up to 100' hardwoods in some cases, but the future work is mostly going to be pruning back nature. The only difference from what I can tell is that our land is far rockier. Given the amount of glacial rock strewn about, it's doubtful that I could maneuver my tractor around, let alone find an attachment that would work in that scenario.
