bobcat ct235
happy friday everyone, i am in the market for a molbord style plow and was wondering what my tar tor would handle. i have a 35hp bobcat four wheel drive compact with loaded turf tires, my ground has been worked a couple of years ago and it is a sandy loamy mix. has anyone pulled a 2 bottom with a similar tractor? i assume i should have no problem with a 1? thanks in advance for any help!

I have pulled a 2 bottom 16 with a ford jubilee. 35 hp and 2 wd, in red clay. I would say no problem at all with your soil and tractor.

I think you'll have a fine time with a 2 bottom given your tractor. 4WD plus weight in the rears. You can always add weight to the front or a FEL which I think would make it work even better.

If you have a buddy with a plow you might borrow it just to test what we say. EverythingAttachment could probably tell you exactly what you can use if you call them.

I have pulled our old 2/14 two bottom with a 8N,L3130 and my L4240..you should have no problem with your tractor unless its real wet.......
