This thread touches on something I have been thinking about and have posted about. WHY ON EARTH would Kubota not have at least one full-time employee whose sole duty it is to read every single Kubota post on TBN and relay the feedback to the appropriate departments. It might cost them about 30 grand a year. Pretty cheap considering the invaluable market research they'd get in return. (And heck, I already do it for free.) Do you think they'd get that back in increased sales of tractors that have EXACTLY WHAT USERS WANT??? They're I&#8217 idiots if you ask me!!!

4400, that might be a little far for me. I don't mind a little trip as I transport a good bit now, but I'll give them a call. It seems I learn something new each time I talk to a different person, so that alone makes it worth it.

The problem with cut and paste from Word can be fixed. Here is a thread that gives info on how to fix it. Click Here
If you are using Word to do your spellcheck and using IE. Look at this thread on using IeSpell.

I can tell you why. Its because they have no idea if what is posted here is really true or not. An inexperienced user may think their 3pt hitch is jerky - but maybe they have never used a 3pt before to know what one is like in the first place. I will attest to there being a fair amount of incorrect information online. The most recent classic case is the shaft rattle on the RTV. If you read online here you would think that every machine has not this major issue, yet when I talked to the Kubota service guys about it they where making the fix for just a few instances of the problem - infact there where only 2-3 complaints registered by dealers on our service center system. The manufacturer is going to get much more valueable information from the dealer network than they are going to find online.

Now, that being said.... its probably a great source of information for the marketing dept. I am sure they can get a good feeling for what features consumers see as important.

Kubota has always sent me a personal inquiry questionnaire for every tractor purchase I've ever made with them, which I filled out and returned with my concerns and/or recommendations.

One year later they have always sent me another 1 year satisfaction survey, specifically inquiring into my experience with their product, any warranty problems, and the service & parts provided via my dealership.

Recently I received a two year overall experience questionnaire on our L-3130 GST with LA723 FEL and filled that out.

So far everything has been 100% positive, no failures, no warranty claims, no hassles, no BS, just good hard work on command! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I also agree why they are not tracking this stuff much. There is a lot of info on the Net, some good, some not so good. While I believe a lot of good info can be had here...if someone says their butt itches then it's real easy for me to say that my butt itches. But I may not go to the doctor for it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
