You made me feel guilty, so I washed the mower deck today. Now, if you really want to make me feel bad, show us a picture of your mower deck after you have waxed it. Well actually I did clean up my mower deck this fall. Didn't wax it but I did take the blades off, lifted it up with my FEL and pressure washed it and sprayed Pam on the underside and put in a nice clean storage shed that is heated.

I cleaned mine the old fashioned way. Lots of grease cutting soap and a large sponge and a soft bristle brush. Hosed the whole thing down a bunch of times till I was satisfied that it was as clean as I could get it without breaking out the pressure washer. I shy away from using the pressure washer on things with paint. I have seen them peal paint off quicker than a prom dress. I don't use the pressure washer as much as I probably should for some projects, because it seems too powerful. This week, I will disassemble the bearings and clean and grease them. Want to inspect the bearings since I was the first to realize that the dealer didn't fill them with grease. Junk....

My pressure washer (cheap one for $89.00) was put away last week. Bought it over the summer but found that it was easier to clean with the garden hose and a stiff brush. Gerard
