One Ton Bag for feed or material

I'm looking for a one ton bag (or smaller) to fill with sand for the winter. I want to use it in my truck for weight in snow. I'll fill it with about 500 lbs of sand and load and unload in my truck with the tractor. Makes for a clean winter weight that is movable. I see these bags at construction sites used for various purposes but can't seem to find one. Also always looking for a really good deal on a used one. I know that feed come in them and other bulk items. Help me find one.

eBay has many options for bulk purchase and individual bags of many styles.

My neighbor gets them for free from where he works, they ship in plastic products in them and are rated for one or two time use so they don't often send them back. We bought them NEW at a place where I worked and those were food grade bags for starch. We sold Potato starch off our chip plant. it was mostly sold to cardboard box places to use to glue corrugated containers together. If you have some family that works in plants using smaller bulk containers they maybe able to get ya one.

This has given me a lot of ideas I couldn't come up with on my own. I bet I could find one for free or cheap so that will be the challenge.

Funny. The wife and I just looked at these tonight. They are new but stored for a while in a barn. The guy is asking $7.50 each. They will hold half a ton.
They tie at the top with a shut at the bottom that you can untie. We will take 10 for now. We will be using them to transport and store shavings for our horses.

If you were a little closer, I'd have you pick me up a couple and ship them. Hopefully I can find a similar deal. Great idea for your use.

General google search says they weigh 4-8lbs each depending on max weight load. These ones are rated for half ton - 1000lbs.
Wonder what the shipping costs would be to WA?

I found some for $14 so I decided that would work for the first one. I am determined to find one sitting in someone's barn that doesn't have a use for it. Thanks
