Awesome! Love the torque-flex linkage that (I'm guessing) reacts pitch up during acceleration. His gyro stabilization seems to work well, and on the later model he seemed to have an aircraft style stick/wheel control. Wonder how well it handles while braking hard? Might make an interesting project with a modern, radial, speed rated tire, lightweight aerodynamic fairing and a high power density motorcycle engine. Thanks very much for posting. This reminds me a little of a very early bicycle design - similar to the pennyfarthing/boneshaker/highwheel except the rider sat inside the wheel:
