That's how I bought my LA352 Kabota (Actually a B7610 Kubota WITH an LA352 loader).

Cashiers checks ...
Might work some places or some people. But as a CL seller I would never accept a cashier's check.

That's fair, as a Craigs list buyer I can refuse to deal with you.

The problem with cashiers checks, money orders, etc. is not that they are inconvenient, but they are not the "safe" currency they once were. Lots of scams going on out there with fake money orders and such.

I'd take a cashiers check if I saw the bank teller handing it to my buyer.

In that case, yes... but at that point wouldn't it be just as easy to pull out cash?

I just sold a meyer plow today , the guy drove 90 miles . He gets here and offers me half the price , told him no . He has a meyer mount on his truck . I told him straight up , its a fair price , you just drove 90 miles , its going to snow tomorrow , you wrecked your other plow , heres my best price , you will lose twice that without a plow . He laughed and said your right , But I had to try . Plow is gone

That depends on if the bank has that much cash on hand (good luck getting out more than $6-8k in cash) from most banks.

I couldn't tell, I see the short section of boom that goes to the bucket (jib?) But couldn't tell if the main boom was present. The way he worded it sounded like it could have not been there.

As I said, I think it would be cool to have, especially if it's complete... even though I have absolutely no use for it. Hmmmm... there is this creek that runs between my neighbor and me- he uses about a 20 ton excavator occasionally to clean it up. Imagine his surprise if I showed up to "help"

Plus note that's it's an uncompleted project: Took the cab off to paint it - [never put it back on] - but has all the parts.

Yeah. I think we've all heard that one. Has one of those disassembled 'deals' ever included 100% of the parts?

I Googled P&H 955B and so far as I could tell there isn't another one in existence. Sounds like a buyer will need to be able to create missing or worn out parts for this one.

Aside from the cost of maintaining this 120,000 lb monster - aren't modern excavators far more productive than this design? Maybe $29,000 would be better spent on something more recent.
