Well.. today was the first day I really got to use the B7300. I only put four hours on it.... man! Ohh well... better than nothing. I ran out of work to do! I have to say I was quite impressed with its performance. I spread three 14 yd. loads of 60/40 and did a few other jobs around the land. I was in some swamp land at the back of my property and I was a bit skeptical about driving back there... but the Kubota never looked twice. It handled everything with ease! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'll get some more seat time tommorrow... one of them brother in law deals! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

You know, the hour meters on these machines are deceptive. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I use my BX23 every weeknd for about 10-12 hours of actual seat time, but the hour meter only reads about 1/2-2/3 that. I guess running the engine at less than 540 PTO speed makes a big difference.

It was my understanding the hour meter was electric on the BX2230 and the hours were not related to engine speed.

Yes, the Hobbs Meter on the BX 2230 is electric. You can hear it running when the ignition is on before you start the motor.

Good news gentlemen! I clocked about 6 more hrs today! I did a whole lot of dirt spreading and cleaned up some burn piles on my brother in laws land. I'm loving the seat time!!
