Tractor
iseki TX1500 and TX1300F
I was working some ground with the tx1300f and the rotary tiller. Somehow when making a turn it happened: Tractor went to it's side.

I was seriously lucky, because this tree was in the wrong place, and it could have given me a few broken bones or worse...

We tried to get it straight, but with only 2 persons it went nowhere.

Lucky i still have the tx1500 around. So i took it out (really happy it started in one crank, not using it for the last 4 months), got some steel cable and connected it to the tx1300f. Lucky i have this FEL installed on the 1300, because it gave a nice high point to connect.

It took a little fight, but the 1500 managed to get the 1300 upright again.....

After this i left the 1300 for 15 minutes, giving the fluids time to fall back into place, and inspected the battery, fuel, and engine compartment. Totally clean on all sides, even though it had been sideways for about 20 minutes.

After 15 minutes it started like nothing had ever happened :)

The conclusion is that i was really lucky, and i have to be more careful on my ground (hilly and bumpy) even with the tiller (abt 100kg) installed. Also that the FEL gives a really good protection on the sides if ever something like this happens again.

Just wanted to share.

You WERE fortunate. With the tree being so close to the operator station. Good to hear that all is OK.

Can we assume you were operating that tractor in a forward motion with material in the FEL bucket highly raised?
Only takes a slight bump to go *** over apple cart......

yea you may think that. But it's also probably the reason it went over...! :confused2:

The FEL was raised about 1 meter high to protect some flowers. Destroying them would seriously upset my beautiful wife. But probably now she was more upset when she saw tractor sided. Lesson to be learned for next time ;).

The spoon of the FEL is actually no weight at all. But i forgot i had 2 or 3 bags of cement in there, i use this when i operate the backhoe to get counterweight for stability.

The reason was probably a combination of things, like the FEL, but also a really deep hole i created with the tiller in an attempt to have it destroy some tree roots i came across. This created a 35 cm deep hole of completely loose ground. You can actually see this on second photo. Also i raised the tiller in maximum height because i was about to make a turn.

I already promised my wife to be more careful :)

I can't see how this happened on what appears to be relatively level ground. FEL raised too high? Tiller snagged a root while turning?

FEL three feet up with 200 pounds +, tiller raised, foot deep hole, sharp-ish turn, yeah, OK. It's becoming clear now.

Glad you're ok. That makes me wonder about a 2 post ROPS in certain situations. That's awful close to a tree.

Yikes... I'd say you were very lucky. Some guys don't get a chance to practice what they learned.

The spoon of the FEL ... be more careful :)

At least you didn't wreck the spoon:laughing::laughing:

Advice given here generally is if the tractor tipped over to stand it back up, remove the injectors and turn the motor over by hand. Once that happens crank the started to clear cylinder from any oil build up and then reinstall injectors and got back to work.

Sorry i am not native english speaking. I can say this word in 4 other languages though, but not a lot of people here would understand ;). What is it called then?

I will keep this injector story in mind for next time . Though i will seriously try to avoid this :)

By the way my ground is not generally flat, on average there is an 8 to 10 % level increase. Some places up to 20%.

I was looking for this ROPS here in Poland, but it is hard to come by. Seems like people don't care about their life and health here. I will have a look in Czech or Hungary.

marcel: the word we use is 'bucket', which for you, I think the best word is 'czerpak'

Oh, That is a nice looking tractor. What are you going to
plant after you finish getting the soil ready?

Ik ben blij dat alles in orde is. wat een knokkel.
Je vrouw zou je aan de zijkant van je hoofd moeten slaan.
De volgende keer dat ik bij jou in de buurt ben
Ik stop even en zeg hallo.
