Dudes, chill out. I never singled out anyone as a "knowitall". Go read this thread from the beginning. I was simply making a joke about the complexity because the OP didn't seem to know what he had. Then I was attacked and called stupid as you just did. I'm not the fairy or unicorn here.

It's possible for a CC system to use a fixed displacement pump with an unloader valve.

Unloader is like a pressure relief that can divert full flow (gpm) vs using a variable-displacement pump.

There are industrial applications, but I've never seen such a setup on a tractor.

There are thousands of Ford 10, 30, and 40 series tractors as well as TW Series II tractors with those exact systems. Fixed displacement gear pumps with unload valves and closed center remote valving.
