Why is it, that whenever I open a thread that has multiple pages, it opens somewhere in the middle of the last page and not on the first post on the first page? Is there a forum help section?

when I open a thread it will open it at the last place that I vewied it. If I have not looked at it it will open it at the 1st thread! Hope this helps.

That's one of those things that wasn't broke but someone tried to fix it anyway and screwed it up royally.

If picture viewing gives you a similar run around, a member with the user name Willl can tell you how to correct that.

I've had similar problems when opening new multi-paged threads, and find it very annoying having to click yet again, simply to get back to the first post of the thread so I can begin reading it.

Clicking on thumbnail image attachments to open them also has their own set of problems, but describing them is difficult, because the behavior is anything but consistent.

Openning threads works well for me, takes me to the 1st message I haven't viewed.

However, clicking on thumbnails, that is fristrating. I look at a thumbnail, then return, and it returns me to some odd location in the thread, not to the message I was just looking at. Actually, it returns me to that message, and then 'flits off to some other message in the thread, like it's teasing me - here's the rest of the thumbnails you were looking at, but I'm going to take you to someplace else in the thread totally unrelated.

I find myself not looking at so many pictures any more.

My solution to the thumbnail image problem is right clicking on the image and opening it in a new tab or window. This allows me to view the image, then close it, without interrupting my place in the thread.

How would one find this Willl?
