( For the money, these are a GREAT value.... even if the product fails in 10 years, I was able to save (and invest) the savings elsewhere such that I could buy two more by the time it fails. )

TresCrows

I bought a 6ft. KK rotary cutter a couple weeks ago. As far as the paint goes, it looks pretty good on the one I got. The color is the same as my woods box scraper. The tailwheel didn't tear up the pasture when turning although I did have to loosen the bolt that goes through the wheel. After I got the mower adjusted right it mowed great. I really liked the way it mowed after I removed my fel. It made for a much smoother ride. I've only mowed about 15 acres or so but so far I think it's a good value. Only time will tell though.

Kevin, I guess if you're bushhoggin' the pasture, no bucket is good... but I learned from some tips I read from John about using the loader for additional protection... now... I use it ALL the time ...whether it's in the pasture or real brush cutting. Net of it... it adds to the stability of the tractor as well as protecting your front end and your undercarriage...

Bought a back blade a while back and before i even used it I added a few welds here and there. I'm sure it will work for my needs but they need to pay a little more attention to detail. And I don't mean things like paint. Yeah the paint sucks, but we can all slap on a coat of our favorite color on a Saturday afternoon. A few more/better welds and a little more care in the setup of the parts before welding it up, would greatly improve the quality.

Looking at the lack of quality in this back blade, i would probably not buy anything with moving parts like a tiller or mower. Most of the implements i have were bought at farm auctions or estate sales. The older stuff is usually built like a tank and much cheaper. I just got a roll-over blade for $150 bucks, and with some new teeth, works better than the landpride I rented a few weeks earlier.
