I spoke to the owner and sent him dozens of pictures with angle indicators etc. The factory is only doing replacement parts and such because of the shutdown. So I will have to wait until after to see what happens.
They want to engineer the correct angles into the manufacturing process, so it might be a little more then welding a PT plate on an attachment made for a different brand. This will also keep the steel redundancy and weight down which is vital in a small machine. I believe it to be worth the weight (wait).
