From what I read and see here...looks like if I buy an Orange tractor I will likely get the Orange Syndrome and suddenly get a urge to trade the Polaris for an Orange one! Tom R

I agree.
Hummm! The RTV1140 has two rows of seats!!! That's like Cira (wife) and Peyton and Elijah and Grandpa.
I gues it's Hi Ho! Hi Ho! It's off to Barlows I go, tomorrow. I'll just go the old way and not take the new bypass and it won't even be like a special trip just to see Kubotas. You know, just to check prices on an RTV1140 while I am driving by anyway going to work.

Sounds like it's a done deal to me -- you're going to buy a RTV. It's just a matter of which model.

Interesting. Around my house, I can think of my Kubota, a John Deere, a Case (if you're counting non-tractor fullsize backhoes), a New Holland, and a Massey Ferguson. I never really gave it much thought, but it seems that my township is very diverse. At least in tractors.

In the neighborhood where my L3940 lives there are 3 orange, 1 blue, & 1 red.
And I know the red owner (my dad) really wanted an orange when he bought his red ... but the dealer has just quit selling orange & started selling red.
So, not quite everybody in this neighborhood has the disease, but it's got a foot-hold. :laughing: :thumbsup:

1140 Camo in the office/show room/parts counter (just put together by Gary)with worksite tires already installed or ATV tires if I prefer for the same price. I took it from two rows of seats to one row and back with Garys help in a few minutes. Now that I know where the catches are and the sequence, it won't take me a couple of minutes by myself. Very interesting. Barlows can get me an Orange one for $200 less without speedometer and has ATV tires ($200 less than Worksite tires).
Kubota just gave a dealer incentive of a few hundred dollars off which Steve told me will apply to my purchase.
I think he wrote my name down before I left so he'll know who I am when I come back.
