Hey Guys,
I figured this would be good for a new thread.
I went to the dealer today and got the ball rolling on my 3520 cab 300CX loader and 72" MMM.

My question is what size bucket did you guys get? they gave me a few options. I went with the 72" bucket.
I'm guessing this is the best sized bucket for this size of a tractor. Also wow is the 3520 built heavier than my 2520 the loader is much heavier.

Also i said to spec it with the 7 Iron MMM. Is the auto connect an optional add on for the mower or something that comes with all 3X20 series 7Iron mowers. sorry if this is a dumb question ha-ha.

How wide is the 3520? I like the bucket to cover the width of the tires, front and rear. If the next size smaller would do that I would drop down a size. The wider the bucket the more power it takes to push into the ground or material pile. If snow wider would be better.
I have a 73" bucket for the 2030 which is fine.
The 6415 also came with a 73" bucket which is too small. I plan to replace it with an 85" bucket.

auto connect is standard for the 7 iron mmm on these tractors. as far as the bucket goes, i will be ording the smaller bucket when i decide to add a loader. the 72 inch will be good for snow or moving mulch but i feel that the smaller bucket will be better for digging which i will be doing more of. the 60 inch will be right on the mark as the width of your tracks. hey, its personal preferance. Smaller the bucket with your machine, the more force your bucket will dig with obviously. decide what you will be doing more of. Moving loose material, or doing more excavation of compacted materials
good thing you ordered the cab, my salesman has had several people skimp out on the cab only to return later to trade in and loose money to get the cab the second go around, I ve been mowing in 100 degree heat here and it gets so cold in the cab i wind up turning the air down to setting 1. I also have tintned windows though

Thanks for the info.
The dealer said the 3520 is 68 inches wide so the 72" seemed like a good fit for general use but I agree for digging smaller is better.
Anyone know how wide the 3520 is with the larger r4 tires and the wheels set to thier wide position?

Not exactually sure where the dealer is getting the 68" from. The rear tires are the widest spot of the tractor and mine are at 59" wide. I also have the 72" bucket and wouldn't want anything smaller.

Does Ag Power have a unit for you to look at or are you buying it blind? I have the same tractor you are looking at with the 72 AutoConnect and the 300CX loader. If you haven't had the chance to look/drive one, you're more than welcome to contact me and and set up a time to look at it. I'm only a half hour west of you. That's alot of money to lay down if you order it and then find out you don't like it.

I find that hard to beleive that it would be 68 " at the widest setting. I have turf tires set at widest position and just went out to measure and came up with 59". 68 inches would be rediculously wide

Thanks for the offer TY. AG Power had a 3720 cab last fall I drove and last saturday i drove a 3320 open station and really looked it over good.
Did you get your 3520 from AG power? Have you been happy with it overall?

I just checked the dimensions in the 3000 series book the dealer gave me. it says
Wheelbase 68 inches
Length 120.2inches
Min Width 40.6 inches
Width 68.4 inches.

The 68.4 has a little line showing outside of rear tire to outside of other rear tire.

58.9 Is the max width for r4 industrials. You can get to 68.4 w/ r1 ag tires because they are a 4 position wheel. The rest of the wheels are only 2 position.

Ah okay makes sense. Hmmm so i could get away with a 61" bucket than and gain a little digging power. Boy that dealer is slow on getting back to me requested a quote Saturday.

That's not a good sign Raptor. Is it possible that he is on vacation this week?

I just signed the order on a 3720 cab TLB combo and added the MMM with it. I decided to go with the 60" 4in1 bucket to make the tractor more versatile. Obviously, I will be using a bit more ballast with it than I would a standard materials bucket, but the extra things I can do with it make me think it was the right decision. I didn't want to have a bucket, grapple, forks, and debris bucket setting around so I consolidated to 4in1 and 42" forks. Besides, I can always add the other items later if really needed.

Dealer says mine will not be in until around the first of August.
