My 2520 comes standard with a 53" bucket i upgraded that to a 61" and it handled it fine. yes you cant fill it with wet sand or gravel.
Reason i went with a 73" bucket on the 3320 Cab is because i move snow with it. I also use it for moving lots of other lighter items from mulch to other random lighter things.
The larger bucket is terrible for digging though. and for moving rock i can simply take smaller scoops at a time vs buying two buckets for the tractor.
For digging holes in the ground i'll use a skidloader. So i guess for me personally and it's to each their own i went larger loader thats wider than the tractor and than control the weight i'm loading but not over filling the bucket if its something dense. Kind of the best of both worlds not great any either but ok at both

I have the 3520 with the larger bucket. I wish I had the smaller one. For me it tends to just stick out to far on each side and becomes a PITA when manuvering in tite spaces. Also start thinking about ballast. I loaded the tires and put 1k pounds behind it when moving large bucketfulls of material. Wish they made a size inbetween the two bucket options.

I'm guessing down the road i might pick up another 61" bucket for the smaller tasks. i agree on ballast. Cab does add a lot of weight but i'm also getting the tires filled.
I have a box blade that i've loaded down pretty good that also helps for ballast.

This waiting for it to be built is killing me haha.

I understand where your coming from, but I respectfully disagree. After owning and operating tractors my entire life I can tell you what's going to work and what's not. A bucket that is larger than the width of the rear tires greatly decreases operating strength. Though the breakout specs are much better on the FEL of my 110, I use the BH because per square inch, there is more pressure to uproot a stump because of the smaller bucket size. I still would like smaller buckets than what I've got, like a 6" trenching bucket or even a ripper as will put the pressure in a more concentrated area. If I need a larger bucket, I'd buy a larger tractor.

The other thing you have to consider is the volume of the bucket. The 110 is a deep heavy bucket, if I remember correctly 1/2 yrd flat or 5/8 yrd heaped. The 73" they are talking about is a 1/3 yrd or less. The difference can be 500 lbs for heavy material. I find the 110 needs an 84" 1 yrd bucket for loose/lighter material. For digging in dirt and stone, the 72" is perfect.
